Every Child Matters.....

Every Child Matters (ECM), is a Government initiative that was launched in 2003. It is one of the most important policy initiative and development programmes in relation to children and children's services of the last decade, and has been described as a "sea of change" to the children and families agenda.

Its main aims are for every child, whatever their background or circumstances, to have the support they need to:

  • Be healthy
  • Stay safe
  • Enjoy and achieve
  • Make a positive contribution
  • Achieve economic well-being

Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.....

The overarching aim of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) is to help young children to achieve the five 'Every Child Matters' outcomes and develop skills for the future.

The EYFS principles guide the work of all practitioners and are grouped into four distinct but complementary themes, as detailed by the Satutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2008;

A Unique Child.....
Positive Relationships.....
Enabling Environments.....
Learning and Development.....

WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY.....

"Both our children have been to Pavilion and we have been delighted with the caring, stimulating and happy environment they have spent their early years in."
THOMAS'S MUM

"Absolutely fab, Jonny doesn't want to come home after a full day.  The learning & friendship for him is great"
JONNY & HARRY'S MUM

"Both our children are really happy at The Pavilion.  It stands out way above other nurseries we have tried or viewed for its outdoor space and activities, however, what makes it really special is the staff and how enthusiastic, dedicated, imaginative and loving they are.  Moving Harry to the Pavilion was the best thing for him by far."
ROSIE & HARRISON'S MUM

"My little girl has loved every day that she has been at the Pavilion Nursery.  She has thrived and developed her key skills by the time taken to allow for "Natural Developement" through painting, play, culture, weather etc.  The staff have always been attentive whenever necessary and are friendly, down to earth and appear to enjoy their time at the nursery.  My little girl always leaves with a smile and a look of having enjoyed her day."
